I live in the High Desert of California.  It is a desert and is very dry.  The high altitude means that we do sometimes get snow during the winter, but I've not seen more than about 6 inches to a…Continue

This is what a green-house might look like here in Puerto Rico:

For warm climates where a large moderating air volume, rain collection and ability to have fully vented houses is critical

Also great for tree crops (such as cherries, peaches, plums) and cane crops (raspberries, blackberries etc)

@Irvin Carrero  Do you think you might be building any soon?

I'd love to see some design ideas.  We got a steal on a small commercial greenhouse 24' x '40'  It has fans, heaters, the works and we got it for a song because the place wanted it gone.  Will take some pics once it's done.  I had neck fusion surgery last week, so a lot is on hold.  My wife is using my down time to build a goat barn, but that's another group.

Hope you heal up soon from the surgery.  I had a lumbar fusion a few years back, but unfortunately I suffered some nerve damage to my legs (sensory) when the disc collapsed a few months before the surgery.

I'm working on trying to build a 24' x 32' green house out of pvc and plastic sheeting.  Not sure if it's gonna work out with that span but I'm going to use wire to make the top pvc section into a truss type system.  I'll let you know if it works.

I wish I could get my wife interested in raising goats or chickens.  I'm gonna try chickens but the wife will only eat the eggs, but that's another group too :)

What are the dimensions?  It looks like about 6' x 10' but it's hard to tell from that angle.

7'x8' inside dimension  you tube texas prepper green house for the pdf and video.

It's a little small for my needs but it might be good for seed starting and such.  I'm planning a much larger greenhouse to contain my aquaponics system (24' x 32').  I might give it a look just to see it's design aspects. Thanks for the reply and information.
